Harry was my hero when it came to Baker HS football. He was good at all the sport he played but excelled in football.  The thing I remember the best about Harry is that he didn't let his talent as a good player go to his head like some of the other BHS sports "jocks" did.   A real class act.  RIP Harry.

I completely agree with Bill.  Harry liked everyone. I played on Little League team with him and he was really good. Team won City Championship. I saw Harry a lot when he worked for Coca Cola. Always the same likable person. If he was having a bad day, you would never know it! From what  I know about Harry Medley, I sure he entertaining the folks in Heaven!!

I know why Harry was such a great football player. I lived across the road from Harry and boy did we play football. My memory goes back to his next-door neighbor who was a lonely ole witch ( as we use to call her) and every time our ball went into her yard, she would keep it. Harry would always tell me to go over and tell her we wanted our ball back. After being turned down many times we just made her life miserable, We would get out late and scream and holler for her and when she turned her porch light on we took off. memories of going down to bull creek and swing on the vines. Oh, such good memories. I never heard Harry ever say anything bad about anybody. He had such a big heart.  Harry will be missed by so many..
RIP Harry

I remember seeing Harry in the "Halls of Baker"  he always had a smile on his face, and a kind word for eeveryone he passed.  I have missed a lot of reunions over the past years, but my thoughts always go back to Harry, TP, as well as LC.  Rest in Peace.   Joanne Rogers Stomackin

Harry was a great friend and my buddy! Harry was best man at Jean's and my wedding.

He was the kindest sweetest and most loving person you will ever meet. Harry and I went every where together, did everything together. I love Harry.  Rest in peace my friend and to his family may God ease your pain, I think about you and love you all.

I have not seen Harry since 1958 at Baker, but I remember him well as one of the "good guys", and reading all the great comments about his life after Baker, it doesn't surprise me at all that his friends speak so highly of him.  Rest in Peace, Harry.  My condolences to Harry's family, especially his wife,  as such a good person will be terribly missed by you all.
