John Albert "Al" Smith

I currently live in Salem, Alabama with my wife Tanya and daughter Aly. I retired from AT&T in 2011 and currently work as a telecommunications engineer with Byers Engineering in Columbus, GA. I enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, and spending time with my kids. I would enjoy hearing from any of my old friends from Baker.

I only spent one year at Baker, transferring from Spencer (thank God) when they moved it to the present location on Ft. Benning. I really enjoyed reuniting with my old friends from Eddy- Steve Tullia, Roy Warren, Annette Putnam, Carolyn Holtzclaw and making new friends as well. After graduation I attended Auburn University graduating with a degree in Building Science in 1984.
