Mrs. Smith was born in Columbus, Georgia, the daughter of Ted Suchaski and Katherine Campbell Suchaski. One of Becky's passions in life was bowling, which is how she met the love of her life Ricky Smith. Mrs. Smith was employed as a Financial Analyst at AFLAC for twenty-seven years prior to her retirement. Becky also enjoyed shopping for hours even though she rarely bought anything and if she did, she bought for others. Mrs. Smith was also dedicated to the service of her Lord. She taught and kept the children in the nursery at Summerville Baptist Church for at least twenty years. Above all, she enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her brother Sammy Suchaski.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband fifty-four years Richard "Ricky" Smith; sons Robert "Robbie" Allen Smith of Phenix City, AL and Richard "Mike" Michael Smith and his wife Michelle of Salem, AL; grandchildren Taylor Holland (Terry Ray), Chandler D'Ottavio (Mike), Shelby Smith and Kade Smith and two great grandchildren Kohen Holland and Maia D'Ottavio.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions be made to a ministry area of their choosing at Lakewood Baptist Church.

I didn't know Rebecca, but we both graduated in '66.  I'm really sorry to see another Baker classmate pass away.  My heart and prayers go out to her children, grandchildren and husband.

Rebecca and I graduated the same year from Baker, 1966 but as the case in those days our graduating classes were so large many of us never spoke to one another and unfortunately that was true with Rebecca and me.

My condolences to her family and friends as it saddens me to discover another classmate has passed.
