I graduated in 1967 but not with my class. I was involved in a motorcycle accident in January and was hospitalized for several months. Even after being discharged from hospital, I was homebound for several more months. I was fortunate enough to have a private tutor and received my diploma at the same time as my classmates. I simply wasn't physically able to attend the graduation ceremony.
