Delbert "Del" Leo Pratt, 70, of Columbus died Sunday, October 6, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital.
A celebration of his life will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Cascade Hills Church 727 54th St. Columbus, GA 31904 with a visitation to follow according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Del was born December 10, 1948 in Frankfort, Germany son of the late Leo Delbert Pratt and Gertrude Tremel Pratt. Del retired from the Muscogee County School District where he dedicated over 30 years of his life educating many students in the Columbus area. After retiring, Del became employed with McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory where he stayed active with the people in our community. He was a dedicated member of Cascade Hills Church where he served as a volunteer. Del also loved to read and was an avid Alabama Football Fan.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Robby Harvey.
He is survived by his children, Scott Pratt (Susan) of Columbus, GA, daughter, Amy Harvey of Columbus, GA, brother, Kurt Pratt of Columbus, GA, and four grandchildren, Austin Pratt, Amber Pratt, Haley Harvey and Cheyenne Harvey.
